Where can I find statistics on the number of deaths in America during 2006?
The latest available year for the number of US deaths was 2,443,387 according to the National Center for Health Statistics.
Reply:The National Center for Health Statistics is your best bet. Although, you might not be able to get data more recent than 2003. The Feds are usually two or three years behind the States when it comes to compiling statistics. Here's a link: http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/deaths.htm
