Should I take statistics in high shcool to become a defense attorney?
Yes, because it teaches you logic and probability. It helps your critical thinking and analyzing skills. You should also consider taking a debate or speech class if you can, if you haven't already. Or join the debate team. A foreign language is always helpful, I think Latin would be the most useful if they offer that at your school. You should get a prep LSAT book too, they sell them at any bookstore and aside from being fun, it'll give you a chance to see if you're cut out to be an attorney. Good Luck
Reply:I would suggest statistics though I don't know if its necessary. I HAD to take trigonometry, but also don't think its necessary.

Spanish however, I would DEFINITELY take. Knowing a second language is VERY important in any job field, especially one where you need to communicate with your clients.
Reply:Spanish would be great. You should also take public speaking if your school has it. Statistics couldn't hurt, although I have no idea how much defense attorneys use math. When you get to college you should think about joining the debate team and volunteering for Guardian Ad Litem. And learn to write well.
