Where can I find facts and statistics concerning the social health of teen girls in America?

I'm looking for good facts and statistics concerning teens girls in the areas: eating disorders, cutting, depression, promiscuity, self-image, and the like. I have done broad searches on the internet, but thus far the data often conflicts and can be questionable. Or is there simply not enough research done for this group? Please let me know what you know or know what you think. I'm working on something and I need all the help I can get! : ) Thanks a bunch!

You're probably finding conflicting statistics because the behaviors your looking for are not socially acceptable, and therefore are under reported. Also, you should try searching for risky behaviors in teen girls, not social health. Look at sites like cdc.gov, nih.gov, medlineplus.gov, mayoclinic.com (this one may be .gov). For eating disorders and cutting, try somethingfishy.org. I hope that helps!
Reply:well I donno. I think a lot of the studies out there are just a lot of bull. Stats too.

I think reasoning things out is a helluva lot better than trying to prove anything with dubious numbers which no one believes anyway.
