How can you improve in statistics?

I have just failed a statistics exam at university and have always found it difficult. I've found that even when i study i don't do terribly well and when i give up i'm hopeless at it completley.

Is it one of those subjects where if you have to have a little bit of a natural ability and it is difficult to improve on?

How can you improve in statistics?
The best way to improve in statistics is first to study on your own, and then to find someone who knows the subject a lot better than you do to ask you questions. This combination works really well because by having someone ask you important questions you might realize what you've missed in your own studies.

I've helped many students with math and statistics in this way. Trust me, it works. It just takes time, and someone else's patience.
Reply:statistics is one of those math classes where you have to read the book! you have to get used to it... read over what you learned in class when you get home and you will get better. don't give up!
