What are the statistics of children in education in developing countries?

I've been working on a persuasive speech that details the negative factors of sweatshops. I want to focus on how children from countries that allow sweatshops get deprive of an education. Anyone knows where I can find some statistics or facts that support this claim.

I did some research on China in the 80s, a time when only about 12% of people got to attend any high school at all.
